All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the Creator of all things from nothing, and peace and blessings be upon the one who guided us to the path of Islam and commanded us to seek beneficial knowledge, our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. On behalf of myself and all the staff of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, I am pleased to present to you the official website of our college, which welcomed its first cohort of students in the academic year **2006–2007**. Since then, the college has graduated many classes holding the Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. Our college aspires to be a beacon of knowledge, a source of enlightenment, and a distinguished academic institution among the colleges of our university and veterinary colleges across other universities. It aims to serve as a pioneering research institution in veterinary education, community service, and the organization of livestock care. To achieve this mission, the college has mobilized all its human and material resources. Efforts are continuously made to enrich the curricula, ensuring that the outcomes reflect a noble mission of achieving comprehensive quality in teaching and learning. This is pursued through preparing graduates who excel in their professions, expanding admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, meeting labor market demands, promoting continuous education for faculty and alumni, excelling in humanitarian aspects, and creating a scholarly environment supported by educational guidance. Our college is firmly committed to reinforcing its role in community service by leveraging scientific research outputs and practical innovations to provide effective solutions for veterinary health challenges faced by animal breeders, livestock farmers, poultry producers, and fish farm owners. Finally, we ask Almighty Allah to grant us success in providing the best services to our dear students and to our beloved country, great Iraq, and to guide us on the path of success.
