Branch of Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology was established in 2006. It is dedicated to preparing specialized cadres in veterinary medicine in accordance with international standards and to achieving leadership in veterinary education and scientific research for the diagnosis and treatment of major animal diseases, particularly those prevalent in Iraq. The department also provides students with the fundamentals of microbiology, including bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and immunology.
