The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University Hosts a PhD Dissertation Defense in Life Sciences

 

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University hosted the defense of a PhD dissertation submitted by the College of Education for Women / Department of Life Sciences, by the student Yusra Majeed Talab, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College.

The defense committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein, President of the Iraqi University, and the session was conducted in a distinguished academic atmosphere, featuring a comprehensive presentation of the study’s findings followed by an in-depth discussion by the committee members.

The dissertation was entitled “Immune Response Pathways Following Immunization with Brucella melitensis and Its Antigens”, and it addressed the immunological aspects associated with the immunization process, as well as the key biological responses involved. The study contributes to advancing scientific understanding of bacterial diseases and their control strategies.

At the conclusion of the defense, the committee approved the dissertation and awarded the student a PhD degree with an Excellent grade, commending the scientific effort and the quality of the achieved results.
