As part of its awareness activities aimed at promoting environmental culture, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit organized an educational seminar entitled: “Energy Development and Environmental Protection Toward a Sustainable and Balanced Future.” The event was held in the seminar hall with the attendance of several faculty members and administrative staff of the college.
The seminar featured lectures delivered by:

Key themes addressed during the seminar included: general concepts of energy and the environment, challenges facing the energy and environmental sectors in Iraq, and the role of higher education institutions in enhancing environmental awareness and encouraging the use of renewable energy.
The seminar aimed to spread environmental awareness and reinforce the principles of sustainable development, contributing to the construction of a more environmentally and economically balanced future while emphasizing the responsibility of universities in this vital field.
