The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University, organized a scientific course entitled “Renal Failure: Causes and Prevention.”
The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturers Aisha Salah Aziz and Rasha Jamal Khudair. It covered several key topics, most notably an introduction to renal failure, including its acute and chronic forms, as well as the underlying causes related to diseases and environmental or nutritional factors.
The course also addressed clinical signs and methods of early diagnosis, in addition to highlighting the most important preventive measures and healthcare practices that help limit disease progression. Emphasis was placed on the importance of health awareness and early intervention in preserving kidney function.
The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students, who actively engaged with its topics due to their scientific and practical relevance in the veterinary field.
