The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit organized a scientific seminar entitled “Insulin Resistance: Causes, Complications, and Treatment.” The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Siham Ajami Wadi and Prof. Dr. Wasan Sarhan Obeid, who discussed several important scientific topics, including the definition and significance of insulin resistance in public health, the underlying causes and contributing factors, the main symptoms and associated complications, as well as the most recent preventive measures and treatment approaches.
The event was held in Dr. Muhannad Maher Hall at the college and attended by a number of faculty and administrative staff members. This seminar comes as part of the college’s ongoing scientific activities aimed at raising medical and health awareness and promoting a culture of prevention among its academic community.
