A Glimpse of the Poultry Diseases Practical Lectures for Fourth-Year Students

The College of Veterinary Medicine continues to deliver its practical lectures in the subject of Poultry Diseases for fourth-year students. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Hassan provided a detailed explanation of the anatomical characteristics of chickens and linked them to actual clinical cases received by the outpatient unit.

This week’s practical session included the dissection of several mortality cases brought to the unit, which were found to be caused by hepatitis and enterotoxemia. Students participated in the dissection steps, diagnosis, and discussion of pathological causes and preventive measures, enhancing their applied understanding and strengthening their clinical skills.

Such training reflects the college’s commitment to preparing students capable of diagnosing and treating poultry diseases in the field, and to supplying the labor market with well-qualified veterinary professionals
