College of Veterinary Medicine Launches Awareness Campaign Titled “Women with Disabilities: Strength that Defies Challenges”

The Unit for Women with Disabilities at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tikrit, organized a distinguished awareness campaign titled “Women with Disabilities: Strength that Defies Challenges.” The campaign aimed to promote awareness of the vital role of women with disabilities in society and to strengthen their empowerment across various fields.

As part of the campaign, educational brochures were distributed to students and members of the academic and administrative staff. These materials highlighted ways to support women with disabilities in their academic and professional journeys and emphasized the importance of overcoming the daily challenges they face. The goal was to foster active participation and enable women with disabilities to become influential and positive forces within their communities.

This campaign comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote the values of empowerment, equality, and equal opportunity, driven by the belief that the power to create change knows no disability — it stems from willpower, determination, and knowledge.
