Under the patronage of **Prof. Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noami**, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, the college organized a training course entitled *“Professional Conduct”*, in cooperation with the **Veterinary Medical Association in Salah al-Din Province**. The course was delivered by **Prof. Dr. Iyad Hameed Ibrahim** and **Dr. Nassar Abdulrabah Sukran**, Head of the Veterinary Medical Association in Salah al-Din.
The event was attended by the Dean, the Associate Deans for Academic and Administrative Affairs, the Heads of scientific departments, a number of faculty members, as well as graduates of the college from various years.
The course addressed multiple themes focusing on the importance of adhering to professional conduct as a fundamental part of practicing veterinary medicine, and its role in strengthening society’s trust in veterinary services. It also highlighted the ethical and professional standards that contribute to enhancing both academic and professional performance.
During the course, emphasis was placed on the need to strengthen cooperation between the college and the Veterinary Medical Association to improve veterinarians’ competencies, refine their skills in line with labor market demands, and provide better service to both the health and veterinary sectors.
This course comes as part of a series of scientific and training activities through which the college seeks to advance the quality of its academic and professional outputs and reinforce the role of veterinarians in society.
