In a new scientific achievement that adds to the distinguished research record of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, Prof. Dr. Omaima Ibrahim Mahmoud, in collaboration with M.Sc. student Khaldoon Khalil Abd, successfully registered four new genetic isolates of the Trypanosoma congolense parasite in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Gene Bank — for the first time in Diyala Province.
