The Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine Holds Its Fifth Session for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

 The Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit held its fifth session for the 2025–2026 academic year, chaired by Prof. Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noami, Dean of the College, and attended by the assistant deans as well as the heads of the academic departments.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees, wishing them success in their duties. The Council then discussed several issues listed on the agenda, most notably setting the dates for the thesis defenses of several master’s students, approving the awarding of master’s degrees to a number of candidates, reviewing the proposed titles of graduation research projects for fifth-year students along with assigning supervisors, in addition to addressing other matters of importance to the College.

The Council’s meeting comes as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to advance its academic mission with well-planned steps toward excellence and ensuring quality in educational performance.
