The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University received a specialized committee from the university and Scientific Research to evaluate the alignment of its laboratories with the approved accreditation standards and to assess the College’s compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
The committee was welcomed by Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Montaser Mohammed Hilal, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. They expressed their appreciation for the visit and affirmed the College’s full readiness to meet all requirements necessary to achieve quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The visit included a field tour of the College laboratories located in the main building, the animal house facility, and the Outpatient Clinic Unit. The committee reviewed the laboratories’ readiness, the equipment and instruments in use, operational procedures, as well as the adopted safety and biosafety standards.
The committee also met with technical staff members and several faculty members to discuss laboratory practices, training mechanisms, and supervisory procedures. They commended the efforts exerted to enhance infrastructure and strengthen the educational and research environment within the College.
This visit reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to advancing laboratory performance and ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
