Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University Chairs College Council Meeting to Discuss Student Affairs and the Educational Process

 Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University, chaired the College Council meeting held on Tuesday, March 25, 2026, in the presence of the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Heads of Scientific Departments, and the Secretary of the College Council.

During the meeting, several agenda items were discussed, focusing primarily on student affairs and the progress of the educational process. The discussions aimed to ensure students’ best interests, maintain regular attendance, and promote high levels of commitment among academic and administrative staff, thereby enhancing the College’s academic standards.

The Dean emphasized the importance of completing academic curricula in accordance with the timelines set by the Ministry, with particular attention to practical components that contribute to preparing students with the necessary scientific knowledge and professional skills.

The Council also approved the minutes of Master’s thesis defense committees for a number of postgraduate students, in addition to discussing various academic and administrative matters intended to improve institutional performance and elevate the scientific level of the College.

This meeting comes as part of the College Deanship’s ongoing efforts to monitor academic progress and foster a comprehensive educational environment that meets the quality requirements of higher education.
