The College of Veterinary Medicine Council at Tikrit University held its first session for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College, and attended by the assistants and heads of academic departments. During the session, the Council hosted: Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Sultan, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, and Assistant Professor Saba Hussein Rashid Makhoul, Director of the Bologna Process Management System. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees, wishing them a fruitful academic year. The Council then discussed several issues on the agenda, most notably: the practical application of the final stages, completing the requirements for implementing institutional accreditation standards, and discussing the plan to complete the implementation of the Bologna Process system in the second phase, following the successful implementation of the first phase during the last academic year. The council's convening comes as part of the college's efforts to continue its scientific and academic journey with well-considered steps towards excellence and ensuring quality in educational performance.
