As part of its efforts to promote academic and ethical values among students, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tikrit, organized an awareness seminar titled “A Cheating Sheet Does Not Write Your Future.”
The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Wasan Sarhan Ubaid and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Hadi Khorsheed, and was held in Dr. Muhannad Maher Hall at the college, with the attendance of several faculty and staff members, along with a number of students.
The seminar addressed several important themes, most notably the concept of cheating and its negative impacts on the academic environment, as well as the ethical and social consequences of this phenomenon. It also highlighted the role of educational institutions in fostering the values of integrity and responsibility among students.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of adhering to proper academic behavior, emphasizing that integrity is the true path to building a successful future, and that real achievement can only be attained through knowledge, diligence, and a conscientious spirit.
