College of Veterinary Medicine Holds a Scientific Workshop on Intravenous Injection of Solutions and Treatments in the Jugular Vein of Animals

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tikrit, the college organized a scientific workshop titled “Intravenous Injection of Solutions and Treatments in the Jugular Vein of Animals,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hammoud Shamil Subhi and Assistant Lecturer Ibrahim Qahtan Naji.

The workshop covered several scientific and practical topics, including the importance of jugular vein injection in veterinary medical practices, the applied anatomy of the jugular vein in different animal species, as well as the precise steps and practical mechanisms of intravenous injection according to proper scientific standards.

The event was attended by a number of veterinarians, faculty members, and administrative staff, who emphasized the significance of the topic in enhancing veterinarians’ practical skills and improving their efficiency in performing field treatment procedures.

This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific and training activities organized by the college to develop the technical and practical capabilities of its students and staff, in line with the university’s approach toward modern applied education and strengthening professional competence in the veterinary field.
