The College of Veterinary Medicine Holds a Scientific Workshop on the Skills of Using Mendeley in Research and Postgraduate Studies

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, the college organized a scientific workshop entitled “Skills of Using Mendeley in Research and Postgraduate Studies.”
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Sawsan Ali Hamed and Asst. Lecturer Saba Hussein Rashid.

The workshop addressed several important academic topics, most notably the introduction to electronic references and the importance of their management and organization. It also included a practical introduction to the Mendeley program, covering how to add and organize sources, as well as how to create and manage reference lists easily within scientific research.

The event was held in Dr. Muhannad Maher Hall at the college, with the attendance of several faculty members who praised the significance of the topic in supporting researchers and postgraduate students. They emphasized that Mendeley offers advanced capabilities for organizing references and facilitating scientific documentation, thereby contributing to improving the quality and accuracy of academic research at the university.
