The College of Veterinary Medicine Holds a Scientific Workshop Entitled: “Environmental Pollution: Causes, Risks, and Solutions”

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, the college organized a scientific workshop titled “Environmental Pollution: Causes, Risks, and Solutions.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sanaa Saud Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Reem Suhail Najm, and Assistant Lecturer Ban Badran Saeed.

The workshop focused on several key scientific topics, including:

  • Diseases associated with air pollution and their impact on human health and living organisms.
  • The damages caused by environmental pollution and its long-term effects on ecosystems.
  • Scientific and practical solutions to reduce environmental pollution, as well as approaches to enhancing environmental awareness within the community.

The workshop was held in the college’s seminar hall, with the attendance of several faculty and staff members, who actively engaged through constructive discussions that reflected the college’s interest in environmental issues and its role in supporting academic and awareness-raising efforts aimed at protecting the environment.

This event comes as part of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness and enhancing the understanding of students and the scientific community regarding the importance of preserving a healthy environment for a sustainable future.
