The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a specialized scientific workshop titled:
“How to Use the Trinocular Light Microscope with Selected Software Applications in Scientific Research.”
The workshop was delivered by:
Mr. Thamer Jadoa Shihab,
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Sultan,
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Hadi Khorsheed,
and Asst. Lecturer Nawar Ali Jasim.
The theoretical portion of the workshop covered several precise scientific topics, including:
-
An introduction to the trinocular light microscope and its main components.
-
Proper operating mechanisms and methods for adjusting image and lighting settings to obtain accurate results.
-
Techniques for capturing images and videos of samples for documentation and research purposes.
-
An overview of key software applications used in microscopic image analysis and their role in enhancing the quality of scientific research.
The workshop was held in the college’s seminar hall and was attended by several faculty members and researchers, aiming to develop their skills in using modern technologies for scientific diagnosis and analysis.
This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific activities aimed at supporting researchers and enabling them to use advanced equipment, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the college’s research output.
