Awareness Seminar at the College of Veterinary Medicine

 The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Tikrit University, in cooperation with the University’s Continuing Education Center, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Between Pressures and Aspirations… How Do We Create a Healthy University Environment,” with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students.

The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Seham Ajami Wadi and Assistant Lecturer Sura Ismail Ibrahim, who addressed several important themes, most notably identifying the sources of psychological stress faced by students within the university environment, ways to achieve balance between academic aspirations and mental health, as well as time management skills and prioritization strategies.

The seminar also discussed the importance of psychological and social support within the university campus, the role of families and faculty members in fostering a positive educational environment, and strategies for managing anxiety and stress. Additionally, it encouraged students to adopt positive thinking approaches that enhance success and psychological stability.

The event witnessed fruitful interaction from attendees, who emphasized the importance of such topics in supporting students and helping them build balanced personalities capable of facing challenges and achieving their aspirations.
