With a strong sense of responsibility and belonging, a group of students from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit—Mohammed Mahfood Ramadan, Mohajer Hassan Taher and Ahmed Hafez Jasim—participated in a voluntary activity that involved cleaning and rehabilitating dog kennels at the Animal House, in preparation for their use in housing animals designated for practical lessons and training.
The students demonstrated teamwork and cooperation throughout their work, reflecting their awareness of the importance of a proper educational environment in developing their practical skills within the field of veterinary medicine.
The Department of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics commended this notable initiative, affirming that it aligns with the department’s vision of encouraging students to engage in volunteer work and promoting a spirit of initiative and responsibility. Such experiences have a direct impact on enhancing the students’ skills and preparing them for the veterinary profession, which inherently relies on collaboration and team spirit.
These efforts serve as a positive model for student engagement and reflect the commendable commitment of the college’s students to their educational environment.
