The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit organized a scientific field trip for second- and third-year students to Al-Hamra Village, with the aim of strengthening the practical skills of students and linking theoretical knowledge with applied lessons in a real work environment.

The students were accompanied by:

  • Prof. Dr. Siham Ajmi Wadi

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Sana Saud Ahmed

The program included a visit to the village’s sheep farms, where students conducted on-site veterinary examinations of the animals, learned methods of preliminary diagnosis, and explored ways of handling common diseases in ruminants. This visit comes as part of a series of scientific and practical activities adopted by the college to enhance student proficiency and prepare them for the veterinary labor market in accordance with the latest academic and professional standards.
