In Pictures… A Glimpse of a Practical Veterinary Lecture for Fifth-Year Students at the College of Veterinary Medicine

 As part of efforts to strengthen the practical and applied aspects of education, the College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University held a practical veterinary session for fifth-year students, focusing on methods of local anesthesia in cattle.

The session was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Saddam Khalid Hammadi and Dr. Hiba Abdulaziz Sheikho, who provided a detailed explanation of the techniques used for local anesthesia in cattle, with emphasis on both the scientific foundations and practical considerations to ensure safe and effective application.

The lecture also included hands-on practical demonstrations, which helped reinforce theoretical concepts and enhance students’ clinical skills, preparing them to manage veterinary cases with high competence after graduation.

Such activities reflect the College’s commitment to developing students’ skills and integrating theoretical knowledge with field application, in alignment with the demands of the veterinary profession.
