The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University organized an educational and recreational field trip for first-year students to Al-Hamra Village, with the participation of several faculty members, as part of its efforts to strengthen students’ practical and applied learning.
The trip included a field tour of cattle and sheep farms in the area, where students were introduced to animal husbandry practices and healthcare methods. They also examined a number of cases under the supervision of their instructors, which contributed to developing their scientific skills and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
In addition, students were given the opportunity to enjoy their time in a natural setting, in an initiative aimed at fostering teamwork, communication, and a supportive learning environment that combines educational benefit with recreation.
Such activities reflect the College’s commitment to preparing academically and practically distinguished students equipped with both field experience and solid scientific knowledge.
