The Outpatient Clinic Unit Welcomes Fifth-Year Students for Surgical Training

As part of the practical curriculum for the Veterinary Surgery course, the Outpatient Clinic Unit welcomed fifth-year students for hands-on surgical training under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ghazi Atiyah.

The practical session included training students on the surgical procedure of abdominal incision under general anesthesia, with a focus on surgical techniques and maneuvers related to the digestive system. The aim was to develop the students’ clinical surgical skills and strengthen the practical application of their theoretical knowledge.

This activity comes as part of the college’s plan to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical training, and to prepare students capable of performing veterinary tasks with high efficiency in the professional field.
