he College of Veterinary Medicine Receives Veterinary Cases and Provides Medical Services to Citizens and Farmers

 During the current week, the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tikrit received several veterinary cases from citizens and farmers, where the academic and student staff provided the necessary medical care for the affected animals.

The first case involved a cow suffering from a patellar luxation in the left hind limb, with final-year students participating in the diagnosis and treatment under the supervision of the Department of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics. The second case involved a domestic cat diagnosed with a spinal fracture, and the necessary treatment was administered along with guidance for the owners on proper care.

This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to provide veterinary services, support farmers and citizens, enhance students’ practical experience, and contribute to serving the local community.
