 The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University received the ministerial committee specialized in the establishment of the Teaching Veterinary Hospital, coinciding with the Third Scientific and Artistic Student Activities Exhibition, in a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected the level of scientific progress and creativity within the college.

The members of the committee were welcomed by the Dean of the College, who expressed his pleasure at their visit and wished them a successful mission, affirming the college’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that contributes to preparing competent veterinary professionals capable of serving the community.

The committee began its tour by visiting the exhibition sections, which showcased the scientific and artistic achievements of both students and faculty members. The exhibition included animal specimens prepared by first- and second-year students, educational histological samples, and models of animals raised in the animal house for training and scientific research purposes. It also featured artistic works and creative paintings reflecting the talents of students and faculty, demonstrating the integration of scientific knowledge with artistic and cultural expression.

The committee then proceeded to the Outpatient Unit, where it reviewed its halls, laboratories, and the modern technologies adopted in student training. The team recorded technical observations aimed at supporting the hospital establishment project and enhancing academic and professional performance.

The tour also included a visit to the animal house, where the committee examined the laboratory animal breeding rooms, sheep and cattle barns, and the biological incinerator. The members were introduced to its operational mechanism and its importance in implementing biosafety standards and preserving the environment.
