The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit held its third council meeting for the academic year 2025–2026, presided over by Prof. Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noomi, Dean of the College, and attended by the assistant deans and the heads of scientific departments.
At the outset of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees and wished them continued success in their academic endeavors. The council then discussed a number of agenda items, most notably the formation of committees for the defense of postgraduate theses, the establishment of academic advising committees, the approval of master’s degree awards for several students, and the review of graduation project topics for fifth-year students.
Additionally, the meeting addressed several other matters related to the college’s academic and administrative affairs.
This session comes within the college’s ongoing efforts to advance its academic mission through systematic planning aimed at achieving excellence and ensuring quality performance in education and research.
