The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit organized a scientific field visit for fourth-year students to the Educational Veterinary Hospital in Salahuddin Province, with the participation of several instructors from the Veterinary Practice course. The visit was part of the college’s practical program aimed at strengthening the students’ applied skills.
The delegation was welcomed by the hospital’s director and its technical and administrative staff. An introductory session was held for the students, providing a detailed explanation of the mechanisms and requirements of the summer training program and its importance in developing practical veterinary skills.
Following the session, the students conducted a field tour of the hospital’s various departments to observe the nature of veterinary work and methods of handling clinical cases. The visit provided them with an opportunity to directly engage with the real working environment and connect theoretical knowledge with practical application.
